Le Markstein Grand Ballon

A stunning view of the Alsace plain

Le Markstein Grand Ballon features all kinds of trails, extending over some 40 km between open spaces and forests, and at altitudes of more than 1,000 m. This Nordic ski area lies between the Grand Ballon and Le Markstein downhill ski areas with a section that extends as far as Breitfirst. Are you looking for a stunning view of the Alsace plain, Black Forest or Alps? The Grand Ballon, which stands at a height of 1,424 m, offers an unbelievable view!
Don't miss the Nordic park, in the middle of the resort, and for those days when you want to rest but still keep active, you've got the snowshoe trails!

La Bresse Lispach

Discover cross-country skiing as a family

La Bresse-Lispach features a well-secured, specially designed Nordic ski area. Here you can try various activities, ranging from cross-country skiing to tobogganing. Its 7 runs (2 green, 2 blue and 3 red), ranging from 2 to 16 km, extend over a total of 50 km. The free beginners area in the jardin d’Anicé, offers a great introduction to the joys of cross-country skiing as well as the new "Glisses Nordiques" area. You'll be surrounded by countryside, including forests, lakes, peat bogs and elevated plains. The icing on the cake: there's a nursery so young parents can escape for a few hours into the countryside!

La Bresse and Col de Grosse Pierre

There are 30 km of marked skating and classic cross-country ski trails, setting off from the resort's Nordic chalet, connecting with other ski areas, including: la Bresse and the Col de Grosse Pierre with its cross-country ski trails. Gérardmer Nordic ski area also features a Nordic ski arena and several loops that are perfect for beginners! If you are holidaying with young children you can rent a pulk and tow them behind you. It's a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Vosges mountains with all the family!

La Schlucht - Gazon du Faing

Superb view of the Alsace plains and Vosges mountain peaks

If you fancy a lengthy, but not particularly difficult, cross-country ski trip which you can enjoy with your family, for example, the trails starting at the Col de la Schlucht will be perfect for you! This trail is 15 km in total but you can continue for another 4 km (approx.) as far as the Lac Blanc. Throughout the trail, you'll get to enjoy a wonderful view of the Alsace plains and Vosges mountain peaks, creating fabulous memories.

One of the largest Nordic ski areas in the north of the Vosges mountain range!

Although its name suggests heat, the Champ du Feu is one of the largest Nordic ski areas in the north of the Vosges mountain range! It boasts 90 km of well-secured, marked runs, suitable for all levels. The Champ du Feu trail which is 18 km long, is for the more experienced skier. You can even enjoy an excursion with your furry friends on the 2 animal-friendly slopes.
