Les saisies - 73

The highest resort in the alps

Located in the Beaufortain massif, Les Saisies cross-country ski resort peaks between 1,650 and 1,720 metres altitude making it the highest in the Alps! It has a superb large Nordic skiing area with up to 120 km of slopes for all levels (beginner and experienced alike). Amongst its 17 slopes, choose the one most suited to your level and preference. Enjoy yourself at this resort that hosted the cross-country events at the Albertville Olympic Games in 1992.
Do you want to take up biathlon? or have your kids discover cross-country skiing? Les Saisies has all you need. Don’t miss the Nordic Park with raised turns, moguls and smooth surfaces to help you progress!

An unspoilt natural environment

A group of small Savoyard villages: Féclaz, Revard, Saint François de Sales and Arith, Savoie Grand Revard is an exceptional cross-country resort.
It includes over 150 km of slopes through the forest and in an unspoilt natural environment!
Want to try biathlon? book in advance for induction sessions coached by mountain professionals at the Alexis Boeuf stadium.
You can enjoy night skiing from 5.00 to 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings and full moon nights! Specially-opened slopes have phosphorescent markings but remember to take a head torch with you all the same.
Lastly, a classic cross-country slope is located in the countryside, starting from the gateway to Crolles or Féclaz. You can move through powder over a 12 km crossing thanks to a single track drawn by scooter, tranquility in the wilderness.

Hot-spot of Resistance activity during the Second World War, the Glières plateau offers 29 km of cross-country ski slopes spread over two areas: Plaine de Dran and the area towards the National Monument to the Glières Resistance.

Biathlon world cup stage

Le Grand Bornand, popular for its village and its perfect location at the heart of the Aravis massif, has a cross-country ski resort spread over 2 sites: Grand-Bornand village and Grand-Bornand Chinaillon.
The slopes from the village will take you into the wilderness at the heart of the forest. 11 loops for all levels are spread over 70.5 km.
There are 4 routes at Chinaillon where you can cross the mountain pastures with a stunning view over the Aravis.
Le Grand Bornand is a biathlon world cup stage and has 2 stadiums where you can get started!
Lastly, there are 3 fun learning spaces specifically for kids to discover cross-country skiing safely.

If you want an amazing crossing then you can rely on Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz for cross-country skiing!

La clusaz - 74

One of the largest resorts in haute-savoie

La Clusaz is one of the largest Nordic ski resorts in Haute-Savoie. The resort is made up of 2 areas: les Confins at the foot of the Aravis valleys and the Beauregard plateau. A shuttle from La Clusaz village will take you directly to the bottom of the slopes where you will find a spectacular setting and classic and skating slopes for all levels.
Les Confins has 63 km of slopes for all levels, including a 13 km slope, as well as a specific cross-country skiing kids club and laser biathlon.
At 1,600 metres altitude, the Beauregard plateau offers 36 km of slopes with an unbelievable view over the resort and the Aravis massif. The more enthusiastic among you will make out Mont Blanc from the neck of the Aravis.
