Features of the product

Buckle adjustment
4 very strong micro-metric aluminium hooks. You can adjust the length of the buckle by tightening or untightening the hook. 3-position top buckles to adapt to all calves. Strap at the top of the rod for powerful and easy tightening at the top of the shell.
Large boot which prioritises comfort and guarantees great precision. Preformed foam at the ankle to hold the heel firmly in place. Neoprene toe box guaranteeing good thermal insulation, even when feet are a bit damp. The faux leather “slide in” and the double strap of the liner ease putting on the boot.
What is flex?
To provide an indication of rigidity, brands assign a flex rating to every boot. This number determines the rigidity of the ensemble: the higher the value the straighter the casing. A flex of 60 is considered best for skiers of intermediate to advanced level. A flex level of 65 to 75 is intended for advanced skiers. Beyond that, the products are addressed to experts. The strong gauges can however increase by a level.
How do you try on ski boots?
Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the buckles to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn't right for you. Once you've fastened your boots, you need to flex 3 times while pushing your calves forward (put your hands on your knees), which will push your heel back into the boot. Stand up: your foot should touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backwards so you can no longer feel the end.
Tips for putting ski boots on more easily?
Pull the tongue towards the front and outside the feet: That allows you to generously open the shell and easily facilitate the fitting.

    Great boots

Great boots. I wore them for a few hours before leaving for the mountains and they seemed comfortable from the outset. After a week's skiing I'm very happy. Very comfortable throughout and performed really well.

They're a great boot if you need a slightly wider fit.

Great boots for price - perfect for wide feet.

Having tried numerous pairs of boots that were uncomfortable due to my large calves and wide feet (that nearly put me off skiing for good) I saw these on Decathlon and noticed they were wide.

I went in and tried them and had great advice from the member of staff.

Having previously spent multiple hundreds on other boots I decided to go for it and thought for £109 where could I go wrong.

Anyway the end result was amazing. These are definitely worth a punt if you have wide feet and struggle for comfort. Could not recomend highly enough.

    Even great for experts

As a life long skier, I found these boots to be really great. I had to buy a pair for Japan and was reluctant to buy a high cost one as I have so many pairs back in Europe. So I went for this one, and boy, it was a good purchase. Very good quality, very comfy, just the right stiffness for pushing curves and not draining all your energy in a powder field. This product to me is a good example that Decathlon really have a strong technicians to make best quality/price ratio product
