Advice

Care instructions
To optimise your jacket's performance and durability, we advise the following: Machine wash separately at 30°C. Synthetic cycle. Turn product inside out. Add a little powder to wash. Do not use fabric softener. Wring out manually. Dry on a hanger in a warm and ventilated place. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator. You can re-waterproof the outer fabric using an aerosol waterproofing spray for fabrics. Read the care tag carefully.
Storage instructions
Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Make sure that the garment is completely dry before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.

Features of the product

Waterproofing
The Evostyle jacket was designed to resist a half-day of skiing in snowy weather (around 4H). To best face the weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.) this jacket was developed using a NOVADRY component and membrane that block the flow of water. To prove its waterproofing, the jacket was placed in a special shower that reproduces the conditions a skier may encounter and to confirm the garment's watertightness.
NOVADRY coating
NOVADRY® coating is a waterproofing "material" that is spread on the inner side of the fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. So you will stay dry and comfortable while hitting the slopes
Waterproof main seams
Only those seams most exposed to the rain/snow are made watertight with special tape. These are usually located on the shoulders and chest. The zips, just like seams, are critical points for a garment's waterproofing: they must be completely waterproof when closed.
Water repellent component
Water-repellent fabric allows water to run off the surface without seeping in. Wed'ze jackets are fitted with a water-repellent component helping them withstand inclement weather and water penetration. It's an additional technical solution to ensure you stay dry as long as possible throughout the day. You will need to regularly repeat this treatment, using products sold in our stores, to maintain this performance.
Thermal insulation and padded lining
Thermal insulation is the ability of the garment to adapt to the physical behaviour of the body and the external environment by providing the best thermal comfort throughout activity (= Neither too hot nor too cold). We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. Wadding is a synthetic polyester-based component that stores a +/- large quantity of air, depending on the size of fibres. The thicker the wadding, the more air there is, and the warmer it is.
Soft, thermal insulation
Since the cold is a source of irritation, Wedze has integrated a soft fleece chin guard that carefully protects your face to avoid any risk of irritation on the neck and under the chin"
Breathability
To find out if a fabric is breathable, its evaporative resistance, called RET (standardized test ISO 11092), is measured. This is the ability to allow vapour, produced by the body during physical exertion, escape which helps avoid accumulating water on the skin. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wedze uses technical components and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) to help prevent condensation inside the garment. RET < 12.
Durability
We know how much energy you put into skiing or snowboarding… That's why we have taken great care in selecting the components that make up our products. We use only highly durable fabrics and assembly processes that undergo tough days of testing!
Product tips
Because you can't think of everything when skiing, the Wed'ze teams have equipped their jackets will little tricks that will come in handy on the slopes. - The mask wipe (This yoke in soft, high-performance fabric is very absorbent allowing you to wipe drops of water from your mask or glasses. Audio output. - The jacket features an Audio output in the inside pocket for passing a hands-free phone kit, audio cable for listening to music, etc. - Key fasteners
Directions for use
To be prepared for all types of weather, layering is the best option. However, you shouldn't use just any old garment: For the first layer, which is in direct contact with the skin, choose a high-performance, breathable garment (to wick perspiration away). The second layer should generate and retain warmth. For the last layer, choose a waterproof, windproof jacket that will protect you from harsh weather.
