Care instructions
To optimise your jacket's performance and durability, we advise the following: Machine wash separately at 30°C. Synthetic cycle. Turn product inside out. Add a little powder to wash. Do not use fabric softener. Wring out manually. Dry on a hanger in a warm and ventilated place. Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator. You can re-waterproof the outer fabric using an aerosol waterproofing spray for fabrics. Read the care tag carefully.
Storage instructions
Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Make sure that the garment is completely dry before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.

Features of the product

EVOSTYLE jackets are designed to cope with approximately 4 hours in the snow. The jacket has been developed using a component that prevents water from entering so it can better withstand bad weather (rain, snow, wind). To prove its waterproofing, the jacket was placed in a special shower that reproduces the conditions a skier may encounter and to confirm the garment's watertightness.
Water repellent component
Water repellent fabric allows water to run off its surface without seeping in. Wed'ze jackets are equipped with a water-repellent component that helps them withstand inclement weather and prevents water penetration. It's an additional technical solution to ensure you stay dry as long as possible throughout the day. You will need to regularly repeat this treatment, using products sold in our stores, to maintain this performance.
Coating treatment
The coating is a waterproof "material" that is spread on the inner side of the fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. So you will stay dry and comfortable while hitting the slopes
Waterproof main seams
Only those seams most exposed to the rain/snow are made watertight with special tape. These are usually located on the shoulders and chest. The same goes for zips, which are critical points for garment waterproofing: they must be fully waterproof when closed.
Wadding thermal lining
Thermal insulation refers to a garment’s ability to adapt to what the body is doing and the external environment while offering optimal thermal comfort throughout your day on the slopes ( = not too hot, not too cold). We use wadding for insulation to keep you warm. The wadding is a polyester-based synthetic component which traps a greater or lesser quantity of air, depending on fibre.
Soft, thermal insulation
The cuff finishing ensures a better seal, preventing snow from getting in should you fall, as well as keeping cold draughts out. Since the cold is a source of irritation, Wedze has integrated a soft fleece chin guard that carefully protects your face to avoid any risk of irritation on the neck and under the chin.
To test if a fabric is breathable, you measure its evaporative resistance, known as RET (ISO 11092 standard. This is its capacity to allow water vapour produced by the body during exercise to escape, thus avoiding accumulation of water on the skin. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wed'ze uses technical components and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) to help prevent condensation inside the garment. Your jacket's RET:
We know how much energy you put into skiing or snowboarding… That's why we have taken great care in selecting the components that make up our products. We use only highly durable fabrics and assembly processes that undergo tough days of testing!
Directions for use
To be prepared for all types of weather, layering is the best option. However, you shouldn't do it with just any kind of garments: For the first layer, which is in direct contact with the skin, choose a high-performance, breathable garment (to wick perspiration away). The second layer should generate and retain warmth. For the last layer, choose a waterproof, windproof garment that will protect you from harsh weather.
When skiing, as you cannot think about everything, the Wed'ze teams have equipped their jackets with small, clever devices. The Audio output. The jacket has an Audio output in the inside pocket enabling the use of a telephone hands-free kit, an audio cable to listen to music...
