Features of the product

Easy Fit
The Easy Fit system allows you to adjust your ski helmet to your body shape, thanks to a dial at the back of the helmet retained by elastics. This retention system can be adjusted precisely and remembers the position of the helmet on your head.
Full Earpad
The Full Earpad is an ear design that offers better support, more warmth and therefore more comfortable to use. The two earpieces are made of a single textile piece, thus forming a contour around the neck.
Air Cooling
Air Cooling is a system that directs the air in order to eliminate the heat and moisture from your ski helmet. This helmet has 12 air vents for keeping you comfortable at all times.
Hard Shell Construction
The Hard Shell Construction makes your helmet more durable and robust. This type of structure has an injection-moulded ABS shell that can withstand powerful impacts. It is both durable and can withstand significant bumps and knocks. The internal EPS lining absorbs the shockwave in the event of a collision. We advise you to replace your helmet at least every 5 years unless it gets damaged by a significant shock in the meantime.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
Everyone, including those who wear glasses, should be able to enjoy skiing. Wed'ze therefore offers a helmet with a visor that is more practical to use than OTG ("over the glasses") ski goggles. However, some models of glasses are incompatible on account of their size. We recommend visiting your local Decathlon store to try the helmet on with your glasses.
Cold barrier
The Cold Barrier provides a genuine thermal barrier protecting you from the cold when the liner hat's hem is folded down over your forehead.
Removable textile
The advantage of the removable liner is that it can be washed separately. The liner hat of this ski helmet is removable and machine washable at 30°C.
S2 Visor Lens
The visor offers 100% protection from ultraviolet rays. The tint of the visor, which allows between 22% and 40% of the light to pass through, is suitable for all types of weather conditions. The polycarbonate material is very resistant to impacts. However, it is not very resistant to scratching: We therefore recommend protecting your visor by placing it in its bag after each use.
EN 1077 standard
The EN 1077 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding. A feature of this standard are the tests undertaken to check the shock absorption properties and the resistance to penetration.
After-sales service
Some STREAM 550 S2 helmet parts are available as part of our after-sales service from our in-store workshops. Available parts: the original S3-type visor and the visor attachment kit (screws and spacers).
