Advice

Storage instructions

Features of the product

Protection UV
Because UV rays are harmful to the eyes, all our goggles are 100% ANTI UV with the EN 174 standard. The ski goggles represent the best form of protection, they fully cover the eyes stopping UV rays from reaching the eyes, and preventing glare
Optimal Anti-fogging
THE "OPTIMAL" anti-fogging system consists of a ventilated double lens with anti-fog treatment on inner surface, and ventilation on the frame which helps ventilate the inside of the goggles. To ensure the inside of the goggles are properly ventilated, you need to avoid closing these air vents, for example with a neckwarmer. Do not rub inner surface of lens but dab carefully with microfibre case in order to preserve anti-fogging treatment as long as possible.
Ventilated dual lens
A goggle design with a ventilated double screen reduces fogging. Indeed, the air trapped between the 2 screens provides thermal insulation. Because of this, the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside is lower and slows down fogging on the goggles' inside screen. The inside lens also has an anti-fogging treatment and is ventilated via holes which guarantee good air circulation.
Spherical lens
The spherical screen also causes the least distortion. The outer lens is made from polycarbonate, very resistant to impact, the inner side from cellulose propionate.
Compatibility with a ski helmet
All Wed’ze ski goggles are designed for perfect compatibility with Wed’ze ski helmets.
Strap
40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicon strip
Microfibre case
Remember to protect the goggles and particularly the lens from possible scratches, before and after use, with the Wed'ze microfibre case. This case also cleans the lenses and the material is perfect for looking after them without causing scratches.
Flash coloured lens
A coloured coating on the outer side of the ski goggles lens (named coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light to the eye, providing anti-glare and greater visual clarity in sunny conditions
EN 174 Standard
The EN 174 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding.
Avoid fogging
Humidity causes the formation of fog. It is therefore best to avoid filling foam with humidity, for example by placing ski goggles over damp helmets or hats. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. That why you need to dry your ski goggles thoroughly every night to eliminate all trace of moisture so you can start the next day with a completely dry pair of goggles.

    Good but not great

No fogging and I had much better visibility than friends with S3 (good weather) lenses. However, on the really flat light days they were not great and I found myself wondering if they are S1 or S2 rated (it does not say anywhere!) and I nearly bought alternative S1's (before remembering how much I'd already spent on these)

    Great value excellent quality goggles

I used these goggles over a season in Japan powder snow conditions.

The goggles never fogged up, from blue bird to overcast icy days, and the lens was great all round (but on bluebird days, maybe recommend the Bones 500 all weather lens). Goggles were very comfortable to wear with a helmet (but did have to extend strap open all the way).

All Bones 500 lenses are interchangeable, and swapping lenses in and out is very easy (click pull and press new lens in place). Lens offered a wide field of view and I could also wear a small pair of glasses under them (there's side channel for spectacle use). No complaints.

The real stand out feature of these goggles is when I combined them with the Wedze Stream 500 helmet. The goggles and helmet fit together perfectly, and there was literally zero "gapper" between the top of the lens and rim of helmet. My snowboard instructor even commented on how well fitting the goggles were to the helmet.

Very comfortable goggle, no fogging, no gapper (with Wedze helmets), great field of vision and very, very competitive price. I own other more expensive goggles from O*kl** and Elect***, but in terms of quality, performance vs. price, I highly recommend these.
