1/ CLEANING YOUR SKI JACKET AND PANTS

The ski jackets and pants are made oftechnical and intelligent textiles , of diverse properties:breathability, water-repellency, warmth...Their compositions requirespecial attention when cleaning them:

1 - CLOSE THE ZIPS

Start by tightly closing all the zips on your jacket and pants, so that they do not catch during washing and damage the garment..

2 - TURN THE GARMENT INSIDE OUT

Turn the garment inside out to wash so that the inner membrane is also well washed.

3 - IN THE MACHINE

Put your jacket and pants in the machine, add a dose of classic detergent.
For down jackets, place two tennis balls into the drum of your machine. This will allow the down to stay airy and keep its loft during washing. Start a synthetic program at 30°.

4 - RINCE TWICE

After the cycle is finished, rinse a second time to make sure your clothes no longer contain traces of detergent.

Do not hesitate to start a second spin cycle after your second rinse if your clothes are still full of water.

BE CAREFUL!!!

Do not use fabric softener, this deteriorates waterproof membranes.

2/ DRYING YOUR SKI JACKET AND PANTS

This is a very important step not to be overlooked! If the drying is not done correctly, your clothes can rot and smell badly

Once washed, turn your jacket and pants back to front and put them back in place opening all the zips. Dry flat in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding proximity to heat sources such as a radiator or a fireplace. This can take several days before your clothes are completely dry, be patient!

Tumble dryers for down jackts: ideal for down jackets, a tumble dryerwill dry the down well and keep it airy and lofty. Put your down jacket withtwo clean tennis balls into the drum of your dryer and program a gentle and delicate cycle. To ensure thorough drying, repeat the operation several times by shaking your puffer jacket between each cycle to help the down to find its volume.

3/ WASHING AND DRYING YOUR SKI UNDERWEAR

For your technical underwear and fleece jackets, machine wash them on a 30 ° synthetic cycle using conventional detergent.

Opt for air drying in a dry and ventilated place.Do not use a tumble dryer, the heat will damage the technical qualities of the synthetic mesh.
