Features of the product

A word from the product manager
The Jib is our new addition to the 17-18 range. We wanted an easy, playful and fun freestyle board that is easy to handle - and this is it?
Programme/terrain
The Jib carves a little less on groomed slopes than the Park & Ride, but it's very playful in parks, on rail courses as well as jump courses. On groomed slopes, it is easy to handle in tight turns, making it possible to play at the edges of slopes. With its flat camber and rocker and its soft flex between the feet, it's ideal for experienced freestylers seeking a playful board as well as complete beginners interested in freestyle.
Twin Tip snowboard
It is a Twin Tip shaped snowboard. The board's front and rear sidecuts are completely symmetrical, offering perfect centring and symmetry for riding in both directions in the same way. The Twin Tip shape is also completely balanced for rotations on the ground and in the air.
Flat camber + rocker
A flat camber is the ideal compromise between a standard camber, which offers edge grip and energy response, and a reverse camber, which is good for handling rotations but offers relatively little edge grip. It is ideal for park freestylers and beginners because: - the flat camber improves stability, on modules and groomed slopes; - the rocker makes it more forgiving on parks and groomed slopes, because the 4 "corners" of the board don't touch the snow when the board is flat.
Technical information
The End Zone 400 Jib's flex, i.e. the stiffness of the board between the front and rear, is about 2/5, which is soft and forgiving. This type of flex is very even from the nose to the tail making turns very predictable without any surprises. This flex, which is designed for freestyle use, also allows you to have fun on the flat (ollies, nollies, butter, nose roll, etc.).
Technical information.
Front width 292 mm. Centre 250 mm. Rear 292 mm (size 151 cm). Radius 7.9 m (151 cm). Effective edge 1,165 mm. No. of inserts: 10 + 10 (3 possible positions per binding/20 mm between each). Recommended stance: 555 mm.
Soft, forgiving flex
The flex, i.e. the torsional stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 2/5, making it easy to handle, easy to turn and forgiving of edging mistakes. A soft flex offers some freedom of movement between the feet. The front foot can ultimately have a heel/toe angle, and the rear a toe/heel angle. This is important for beginners as it is forgiving of edge mistakes. The soft flex is also suitable for freestyle-jib-flat use.
Setback 0 mm
The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 0 mm: no setback, these are fully centred Twin Tip boards, not only for riding in both directions, but also for better balance during rotations in the air and on slopes.
Extruded base and high-quality glide
Extruded base (manufacturing process that is different from that of the sintered bases): - provides normal glide and good durability over time; - requires regular maintenance: ideally, wax after every 5 outings and at least once a year, - either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide; - or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth, leaving it on to protect it throughout the summer.
Sold with Illusion 400 binding
"Traditional snowboard binding: - very good support thanks to the 3D ankle strap which perfectly conforms to the shape of the boot; - great comfort thanks to the cap strap, the strap toe position is only on front of boot; - highly responsive with a rigid spoiler; - easy Turn Strap opening system so that you no longer have any problems with the strap hindering boot entry. 146 cm and 151 cm, size M: 4.5 to 8. 156 cm W, size L: 42 to 48.
